With the November election approaching, we need trained poll watchers to help ensure every vote is counted fairly and accurately. This session will prepare you to serve as an official poll watcher on Election Day and during Early Voting.

What you'll learn: 

• Your legal rights and responsibilities as a poll watcher in Duval County
• What to observe - and what to avoid - inside the polling place
• How to identify and properly document irregularities
• Chain-of-custody basics and how ballots are handled
• Who to contact if a problem arises, and how to escalate issues calmly and effectively
